New Season? New Wardrobe…

Don’t let the sunny mornings con you out of your new autumn wardrobe, it’s still rather chilly out there and thus justified that you are in all new attire for this season! I only have 12 weeks left of being pregnant so need to be quick to make the most of what the Autumn / Winter collections have to offer…

Pregnant or not, you simply can not welcome Autumn without the classic beige trench. If you have a spare £1100 then I would suggest hitting Burberry, however, for the rest of us mere mortals GAP are the best starting at £69! Don’t bother with a maternity version, you can wear them open with a bump and save the smarter clenched waist look for after you have had the baby. The trench will instantly give a chic and styled look to any of your outfits.

JoJo Maman Bébé kindly sent me some samples from their brand new AW12 collection to review and feedback to my followers, having never really considered this store for myself despite Scarlett regularly being dressed head to toe in their beautiful dresses, I was pleasantly surprised! As I mentioned in the ‘Essentials’ post, the fabric of maternity wear is key and JoJo Maman Bebe offer fantastic quality that doesn’t lose its shape so its a great stop for reasonably priced basics. I was also impressed with the skinny jeans although at 6 months pregnant they only just fit so not sure they are the jeans to get at the start of your pregnancy, but at only £29 definitely worth hanging on to for later on!  My absolute favourite piece that I can not recommend enough is this beautiful angora mix cardigan, it is so flattering and easy to wear and can be worn after baby is here. If you only buy one piece to see you through autumn, this is the one to invest in!

Love this denim maternity tunic at TopShop, it will look fab with thick winter tights and a slouchy cardigan.

And of course, my favourite maternity shop of all, Isabella Oliver who have not disappointed with their new collection. They keep their collections simple, but it means everything fits beautifully and whatever you order online will never let you down! I just love this ruched dress for smarter occasions accessorised with black tights and elegant heels with a skinny belt worn under the bust.

Later on this week I will be reviewing the best autumn finds for your little ones!
