My Top Gadgets At The Baby Show And A Premier Exclusive With Stokke!

This week I wanted to tell you about some fabulous new products I discovered at The Baby Show 2015 held at the ExCel. I have been to the show a few times but this year there was just so much more to see and was by far the best baby event I have been to. Maybe it’s because I am now a mum of 2 and have an idea of what I am actually looking for!

I was invited by the luxury scandinavian brand Stokke to attend a World Premier Exclusive for their very impressive Home Collection. Of course I made the most of my press pass by sampling all the goodies on offer and checking out the latest in new baby innovation which I will tell you about later, but for now – you must check out this beautiful nursery collection!

The Little Nursery With Big Possibilities…

This brand originally won me over with their luxury collection of travel systems; their designs are unmistakable so I was very excited to see what they would be bringing out for the home collection. Needless to say, they have not disappointed. The collection is made of 4 extremely stylish and contemporary components, the crib, the bed, the changer and the dresser. But it can turn in to so much more! All of their products are designed with longevity in mind so it’s no surprise they had considered the needs of a young child as well as a new born and cleverly incorporated both into one design.

For Newborn…

For Toddler…preview-2

The Crib

This beautiful crib with fabric support actually sways to the motion of the babies movements and is also incredibly space saving. Once you no longer have a need for the crib, you can use the structure to hold the changing top, and once you no longer have need for that – you can turn it into your child’s first desk as you can see above in the hazy grey collection!

The Changing Table

As well as the crib, the changing table will also fit securely onto the top of the bed and the dresser depending on your preference and stage you are at with your little one.

The Dresser

The compact dresser offers ample storage for your little one and has been designed with ease of use in mind. Little things like leaving an open space at the bottom of the drawers so you can stand closer whilst changing your baby makes all the difference to your routine.

The Bed

The bed has been designed with a childs imagination in mind. Making it the ‘home’ of the collection, where your little one can explore and feel safe. The bed will see your infant through until 5 years old and over this time you can change the textiles that drape the structure for a new and more grown up style.

It is quite simply a beautiful collection that children of all ages will love. It was the tent style bed that got the thumbs up from Scarlett and Savannah who point blank refused to get out of it during the exhibition (embarrassing). I am very excited about a future post where I include this furniture as part of my new babies nursery and to show you the little touches I’ll be adding to personalise the collection.

These products are only at Pre Launch stage and should be available to purchase in May. You can find more information here.

And now on to the gadgets that caught my eye…

The first that really impressed me was the Puj Tub. A comfortable, curved mat that simply sits in the sink to make bathing a newborn totally hassle free! No more backache leaning over the bath or trying to store one of those massive stand alone plastic baths. I have found it on Amazon at around £30.

Next up is this clever little bottle by Yoomi with a built in heater for warming milk on the go! A total life saver when out and about and your baby decides they want their milk NOW!!!

And the last little gizmo that I thought was total genius is this on-the-go pacifier steriliser by Milton which is really handy especially when on holiday.

If you missed this event, The Baby Show is being held at the NEC Birmingham in May and returning to London at Olympia in October, you can get more information on the events here.
